ASA Filament
Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate. ASA has a smooth shiny surface with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. ASA is an improved ABS with great outdoor suitability. Developed as an alternative to acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Compared to ABS, ASA has an improved weather resistance. It can withstand UV and moisture well. ASA is extremely well suited for outdoor use. ASA and ABS are almost identical, however ASA discolours much less quickly and loses its strength less quickly

Settings
We print and test our filament a lot to learn what settings makes the best results and the best way of printing.
Printing Temperature: 230°C – 280°C
Bed Temperature: 90-100°C
Bed Adhesion:Â Glue-stick, PEI sheet
Print Speed: 30-40 mm/s (higher speeds may need slightly hotter printing temp, up to 250°C)
Cooling Fans:Â yes at 10%
Ideal build chamber: Closed, warm, no draughts. Ideally maintains 90-95°C inside chamber.
